LEARNING OUTCOMES
Cosmetology at RUBC spans three primary disciplines: hair, skin, and nails. Our curriculum is designed to build technical skills step by step in a supportive, real-world salon environment. We focus on practical, hands-on confidence, ensuring your transition from the classroom to a rewarding beauty career is smooth, clear, and completely dominant.
Hair
Wet and thermal styling, chemical waving and straightening, precision haircutting, signature hair coloring techniques, and braiding
Skin
Facials, brow shaping, hair removal, lash lift, and basic makeup application.
Nails
Manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
Cosmetology Course Breakdown
This is a breakdown of how the 1,000-Hour Cosmetology Course is structured. Theory hours focus on classroom instruction, written exams, and preparation for the California state licensing exam. Practical hours take place on our clinic floor, where students gain hands-on experience performing hair, skin, and nail services on real clients, refining their techniques in a professional setting.
